Taking control and making it happen.

In the next few days you will see a change in my website.  After two years of  growth, development and exploration, I am de-cluttering my own business.

Just like when I de-clutter closets and rooms, I am experiencing the "ahhhh" feeling that comes with letting go of the excess.  When I first started my business very little of what I put on my website felt like excess. It was important information (to me) and I felt like I needed to put it all in writing so those researching my business and abilities would be able to get their questions answered just by  reading. Over time I realized my approach was heavy. There was so much information out there, that some couldn't find the answers they needed. So... I am taking control and making changes!

Think of the information you are sharing about yourself and the image you portray to others  as your "website." Here are a few questions to ask yourself:
1. What does "my website" say about me?
2. Am I giving too much, too little or slightly skewed information?
3. Has my approach gotten heavy around certain people or groups in my life?
4. Do I need to peel back a few layers to show the authentic me?

I relish the opportunity to speak about my passion for personal development and the authenticity of my services. I am excited that my updated website will clearly outline my services, while leaving room for a conversation with my clients about their needs and the benefits of my services.  I want everyone I do business with to know the real me.

Is it time to update your 'website'? Don't be afraid to change and improve,  no one said you had to have yourself all figured out by now!
